A quasi-corporate learning environment – PaGaLGuY
Mumbai Educational Trust – MET League of Colleges is a 30-year-old group of institutes offering multi-disciplinary courses ranging from school to postgraduate and even doctoral level. Located in Maharashtra, the MET League of Colleges has about 20 institutes spread over two modern campuses in Mumbai and Nashik. From management to mass media and animation to information technology, MET offers distinctive courses in more than 10 areas of study. The first educational group is also proud to have more than 20 national and international partnerships and accreditations. But above all, MET aims to provide the highest level of professional training to students. However, delivering quality education requires an infrastructure capable of enhancing student effectiveness. Does the MET have the infrastructure to meet the high standards of education it promises? And why is good infrastructure important?
Importance of good infrastructure
- To deliver a world-class education, an institute must first have the means to render the same.
- Several experiments and surveys validate the essence of the top-notch infrastructure for student development of educational institutions.
- The better the facilities of a college/institute, the better the results. Access to global measurement technologies and books facilitates finer results for researchers.
- There is strong evidence that excellent infrastructure undoubtedly lowers dropout rates.
- A good infrastructure is also a precursor for more concentration, instruction and commitment on the part of the student.
- Modern facilities also motivate students to use them for their academic and personal development.
- Students need space to take a break from the busy schedule of classes and homework. Without a break, classes can increase student pressure and also have a negative impact. An institute with good infrastructure ensures that students benefit from the layoff time.
