LBS, first educational institution to obtain ISO

Lagos Business School is now the first academic institution to receive the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate, an international standard measure for quality management systems.

The Standards Organization of Nigeria recently awarded LBS the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate at a ceremony held at LBS premises.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lagos Business School Dean Professor Chris Ogbechie said the global rankings and accreditations have been achieved through a careful and deliberate implementation of a management system for the quality that they used to provide a superior learning experience for participants.

“Today, our efforts are rewarded by obtaining ISO 9001: 2015 certification. This confirms our commitment to provide quality education and service to our customers and stakeholders, as well as to meet all requirements. legal and regulatory. This prestigious award recognizes many years of dedication to serving staff, faculty, students and stakeholders.

“It’s a proud moment for us, knowing that the high standards we set for ourselves pay off. But this is only the beginning. We need to work even harder to continually improve our service delivery at all touch points and maintain our ISO certification.

“This ISO 9001: 2015 certification places LBS in a category of its own as the only academic institution with such honor. We have always set the pace for academic excellence and this certification is another pedestal that others will try to achieve, ”added Ogbechie.

In his remarks at the presentation ceremony, SON Managing Director Mallam Farouk Salim encouraged other academic institutions and service providers in Nigeria to emulate LBS’s achievements.
