Harbhajan Singh ETO, cabinet minister, inaugurated a smart classroom at the Government Elementary School in Ranakalan on Monday. He stressed that the learning environment in schools will be made conducive so that children can be kept up to date in the mandate of the AAP. “Our government’s priority is to improve the education and health sector, so soon mohalla clinics will also be opened across the state,” he said.

Addressing the children, he said that he too had studied in a public school and that he himself had been a teacher in the school where he had studied. “Our public schools are much better than private schools and now children will be involved in school education as well as sports,” he said. While praising the school, he said that this school has increased the percentage of enrollment in this session. He also paid tribute to the teachers who increased the school’s enrollment and announced that soon three new halls, a conservatory and a school wall would be built as part of the infrastructure upgrade. he also distributed 100 schoolbags to school children.
He pointed out that infrastructure for conducting smart classrooms will soon be put in place for all public schools.
