Omani educational institution obtains global seal of approval
To obtain Cognia accreditation, organizations must implement a continuous improvement process and undergo internal and external reviews.
Muscat: An Omani educational group that operates schools, nurseries and preschool learning centers in the country has received global accreditation based on its efforts to encourage productive learning, meet the needs of learners and demonstrate effective leadership.
Global Education Services, the parent organization of Al Shomoukh International School and Shomoukh Nursery, has received Cognia accreditation, one of the premier marks of academic accreditation and quality assurance in the country.
Cognia is a non-profit organization that provides quality assurance to schools, school districts, and educational service providers.
“Cooperation accreditation conferred by Cognia Global Accreditation Commission provides global education services, Al Shomoukh International School and Shomoukh Nursery, a nationally recognized quality mark for our cooperation,” said Sheikha Janat Salim Hamood Al Hashmi, CEO of Global Education Services Company. “It demonstrates to our community our commitment to excellence, our openness to external reviews and feedback, and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve. “
Obtaining Cognia accreditation means that the cooperation is accredited and that these educational institutions are recognized nationwide as organizations that meet Cognia’s quality standards and maintain a commitment to continuous improvement.
To obtain Cognia accreditation, organizations must implement a continuous improvement process and undergo internal and external reviews. A cooperation in good standing may retain its accreditation for a period of five years.
